Apple is an Equal Opportunity Employer. www.apple.com/jobs Position Description:The Installation and Setup Team is looking for an intelligent and motivated individual who is ready to tackle a variety of challenges: we are responsible for Apple's installation technology, Software Update for Mac OS X and Windows, Setup Assistant, Disk Utility, PackageMaker, and more. The right candidate will have a flexible, pragmatic approach to solving problems, with a customer focus. Candidates experienced with installation technology will receive special consideration, as will those with a strong sense of UI design. We need a generalist who will enjoy quickly switching gears to work on all aspects of our software.Responsibilities include:- Working on everything from frameworks to application UI- Tracking down integration bugs- Helping design future versions of Apple's installation technologyRequired experience / skills:- BSCS or equivalent experience- C programming on a UNIX platform- Experience using an application framework- Enjoys working collaborativelyAdditional success factors:- Mac OS X / Cocoa programming experience- Win32, MFC programming experience- API and framework design experience- Experience with MSI, RPM, Debian, etc Perk #56: New ways to stretch your mind.
