Enterprise Account Executive - Software Sales

AvePoint, Inc. is a Jersey City, New Jersey, based enterprise software firm that specializes in award winning data backup and management solutions for the latest generation of Microsoft Windows and Office products. The young company has experienced tremendous expansion in the past four years through triple digit growth in both revenue and work force, and was recently funded by Summit Partners, a software venture capital firm with $9 Billion in managed funds.  Current investment banker estimates that AvePoint’s value in the hundreds of millions, a number that is expected to increase rapidly with the company’s growth.  AvePoint serves over two thousand enterprise customers, including many Fortune-500 companies, across 6 continents via offices in Jersey City, San Jose, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Dallas, USA; London, UK; Melbourne, Australia; and Changchun, Dalian, China. AvePoint also operates one of the largest dedicated SharePoint research and development teams outside of Microsoft. 

AvePoint currently markets and sells its expansive suite of SharePoint complementary software solutions through its extensive network of partners such as IBM, NetApp, UNISYS, and Microsoft.

The Job:

We are looking for highly-driven and self motivated individual to join our Enterprise Sales Team here at AvePoint.  We offer a superb compensation package which includes a base salary + an excellent uncapped commission plan + outstanding health benefits. In addition, the EAE will be provided with all the necessary tools to succeed, such as extensive training, laptop, cell phone, and travel/home office expense reimbursements.  

 
Responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to: Establish close relationships and introduce our products to our largest customersProvide onsite sales and business development supportCoordinate sales engineering supportGuide customers through the purchasing processMeet and exceed revenue goals Ensure successful deployment of our products and customer satisfactionManage assigned territory and/or assigned accounts

 
Qualifications:

BA/BS degree is a must3 years of relevant sales/ business development experience with at least 1 year sales experience in Enterprise Software, Portal/Collaboration Software, Microsoft Industry, and Microsoft SharePointDemonstrated ability to present effectively, and to sell to high level Fortune 500 accountsStrong skills in communication, negotiation, organization, and teamworkAbility to travel about 50% of the time
