This position has overall responsibility for day-to-day client interactions as well as leading a team of three to ten software developers. Capturing business requirements and translating those to the technical specifications used by team. Working with technical staff to understand problems with software and to develop specifications to resolve them. Resolving client complaints and responding to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Acting as the project manager or team leader for complex software solution development projects. Assisting in the training of less experienced software development staff. Position will require 10% travelRequired Skills and Experience: Minimum of 8 years experience with a proven track record in designing and implementing complex enterprise software and system integration solutions. Experience with implementing enterprise-wide content management and work flow automation solutions on multi-year projects. Strong knowledge of .NET Application Development Framework programming languages and techniques. Strong knowledge of formal software development methodologies and tools. Proven track record applying analytical skills to a variety of projects and issues. Preferred Qualifications: Experience designing and implementing software solutions and integrating for local governments, municipalities and regulatory agencies. Microsoft Office SharePoint 2007, Windows Communication Foundation and Windows Workflow Foundation Experience participating in business development initiatives Experience aiding in the development and maintenance of best practices and standards for executing software development projects.
