The Creative Team at GoldPocket devises, designs, and builds games, dynamic user experiences, and applications that allow television audiences of millions to participate and dynamically interact with their favorite TV shows across cable set-top boxes, PCs/Macs, and mobile devices. We are looking for a talented scripter to deliver applications to a variety of platforms using their passion for game creation and flair for coding. QualificationsIn order to be considered for this position, you need to be confident in your current ability and your potential in at least one of the following scripting languages: Lingo, Actionscript, ASP, PHP, and/or JavaScript. Knowledge of Lingo is strongly preferred, but an ability and willingness to learn quickly is all that is required. You should be skilled enough in Photoshop to extract assets from a psd provided by our designers. Knowledge of XML, DHTML, and an eye for design/layout are a plus but not required. Experience with video editing software, particularly Final Cut, is also a plus. This is an entry level position. Recent college graduates that meet the above criteria and think the challenge of this role is the kind of opportunity they have been working toward are encouraged to apply. A Bachelor’s degree along with leadership abilities and significant academic and extracurricular achievements in College and/or High School is required. Coursework in computer science, film/video or multimedia is a plus.
