Arxan Technologies, Inc. is looking for an Executive Assistant/Bookkeeper to provide support for our office in Bethesda, MD.  This position will be full time and is eligible for benefits.  It is highly likely that during peak times the job may require extra hours so the candidate must be willing to work additional hours.  This person will perform a variety of administrative duties such as, but not limited to the following:

 

Support CEO, Vice Presidents and Controller Greet and sign-in/out visitors Answer incoming calls, direct calls to appropriate individual/office, taking messages, etc Make travel arrangements (occasional contact outside of normal business hours) Prepare management expense reports Maintain/order office supplies Arrange meetings/events including luncheons and board meetings Send/deliver mail, including FedEx mailings Help consolidate board PowerPoint presentations Input accounts payables invoices/expense reports and print checks for accounts payables Assisting in month end activities such as bank and GL reconciliations, prepays, and posting journal vouchers Reconcile credit card used for office purchases Assist in balancing employee time sheets to vacation & sick time in payroll system Other miscellaneous clerical duties:  filing, typing, faxing as needed



Qualifications:Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be well organized, detail oriented, flexible, and able to handle a high volume, diverse workload Computer and internet savvy Proficient in QuickBooks Proficient in MS Office, i.e., MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism Flexibility and willingness to do what needs to be done
