Executive Planner - Bilingual English/Japanese
Pokémon USA, Inc. is seeking a Bilingual (English/Japanese) Executive Planner to join our team. This position will report to the President of Pokémon USA, Inc.
Overview:
As Executive Planner, you will be the liaison responsible for translating and interpreting Japanese to English and English to Japanese in meetings and in documentation and for providing executive level administrative support to the President of Pokémon USA, Inc. & Japanese officials at the parent company – The Pokémon Company. This position requires excellent speaking, reading and writing skills in both Japanese and English, along with superb organizational skills, project management and computer proficiency.
Responsibilities:
· Communication Liaison between all Pokémon offices.
· Maintain and promote excellent client relations by managing a prompt and accurate response to email and phone communications from The Pokémon Company.
· Gathers information and prepares periodic reports related to sales, operating results, forecasts and other key business performance indicators.
· Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly management reports to The Pokémon Company distributed and communicated in a precise, accurate and timely manner.
· Works with leaders of internal functions such as Finance, Sales, Marketing, etc. to collect data and analyze key performance indicators.
· Handle administrative duties on behalf of the President, including communications, meeting minutes, translation, file maintenance and meeting and travel arrangement coordination.
· Manage, coordinate and schedule events, meetings and entertainment for top management officials visiting multinational offices.
· A problem-solver, able to actively listen, and communicate clearly and concisely.
· Flexibility and willingness to assist where and when needed as directed by management.
· Handle highly sensitive and confidential Company information.
Qualifications:
· Bilingual English/Japanese.
· Experience in Japan, US, or multinational corporation with a minimum of 5 years business related experience.
· Strong analytical skills and business acumen combined with advanced administrative experience managing projects using various computer software including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.
· Exceptional leadership, presentation and communication skills. Ability to understand, interpret, translate and communicate Company business plans, strategy and objectives to Japanese officials at the parent company – The Pokémon Company.
· Ability to communicate results of reporting and analysis to management verbally and in written form.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills and integrity. Ability to communicate and interact with top management levels within the Pokémon USA, Inc. organization as well as Japanese officials residing at the parent company - The Pokémon Company – located in Japan.
· Experience and understanding of Japanese cultures, customs and style of communication.
· Knowledge of Entertainment Industry a plus.
· BA/BS Degree
