Title: Export Control Manager #64509 Location: San Rafael, CA The Export Control Manager is directly responsible for ensuring worldwide company export/import compliance with all applicable trade control regulations and customs issues worldwide. The Export Control Manager will work with Global Business Services, Finance, Tax and Legal teams to implement the global export and import policies and procedures, which are designed to ensure compliance with export and import laws. The successful candidate will have strong problem solving skills, a strong customer focus and a high level of personal accountability. Responsibilities: Manages daily export screening of customers and sales orders to insure compliance with export and import laws and regulations Collaborates with product development engineers, managers, other cross functional teams to understand classification and other regulatory issues that surround Autodesk's products, technologies, roadmaps and business plans. Prepares, submits, and communicates status of export control classification license applications and other requests for approval to the Bureau of Industry and Security, US Department of Commerce, and US Department of State. Creates best in class Export Control team and infrastructure. Develops, implements and manages global compliance program, including training, policies, and procedures for business worldwide. Manages trade compliance web site for internal corporate use. Identifies areas of trade compliance risks, conducts risk assessments and develops action plans to eliminate and/or mitigate risks. Performs compliance audits with internal and external customers. Manages compliance audits and investigations and implements any necessary corrective action. Ensures overall cost minimization in a full compliance environment in such areas as supply chain, tax, duty, customs, and export and import compliance for all Autodesk products and services globally.
