Exstream Dialogue Lead Developer

Description:

Designs, develops, and performs the maintenance of Statements information management systems. Interfaces closely with a cross-functional development team, internal business teams, and the print facility to deliver highly-visible high-quality statement and marketing media to our external customers.

Primary Responsibilities: Contribute to full development life cycle, including: requirements analysis, functional design, technical design, programming, testing, documentation, implementation, and on-going technical support Plan, design, implement, and support efficient and cost effective application software solutions Analyze specifications and perform program/database design activities Conduct technical 'hands on' implementation working closely with business, support, and testing departments Produce structured, commented code based on the documented requirements Prepare and maintain system documentation and follow proper naming conventions Conduct design and code reviews Develop test plans, perform unit and integration testing of software Participate in the change control process Provide in-depth analysis and resolutions to Exstream technical issues Recommend best practices and alternative solutions to team members and leaders for the monitoring, support, maintenance, and implementation of applications Must be able to analyze/translate business needs into effective technical solutions Work on components of large complex projects with minimal guidance Gather, compile, interpret, synthesize and normalize information from business processes or technology systems. May have technical specialization for designing testing and deployment strategies for projects May indirectly supervise staff on a project/event basis Coordinate and communicate a solution’s status with all other groups Ensure development is performed to the specifications

Qualifications:

Technical Requirements: At least two years experience with Exstream Dialogue Five years design and development of multi-tier software applications preferred Knowledge of AFP data streams required Prefer experience working in a Multiple LPAR MVS environment Prefer experience with COBOL, JCL, UNIX, and FTP Mainframe system processing knowledge Exposure to TSO, ISPF, CMAN, INFOMAN, and/or J2EE concepts considered a plus Experience building scalable, mission critical applications Experience with full project life cycle from establishing requirements through delivery and production
