Federal Inside Sales Representative

The Federal ISR is an Inside Sales position responsible for an internal and external sales team driven to a common goal within the DOD/Civilian named accounts. The Inside Sales Rep will be responsible for:  responding to customers and provided solutions for their network management needs. Primary duties include lead follow-up, outbound calling and opportunity creation/close. The ISR’s goal is to maximize sales opportunities while effectively supporting the customer by providing accurate product information throughout the sales cycle.  This position reports to the Director of Sales.

The Inside Sales Rep will be responsible for:

 Responding to customer inquiries via phone and e-mail, assisting potential customer during their evaluation process, creating quotes and new customer accounts, and closing sales Keeping management informed by submitting accurate and timely activity and results reports on a weekly basis and providing sales performance information on a weekly basis Maintaining accurate customer and potential customer records in the CRM tool Conducting product demonstrations via the internet to potential customer’s audiences that are both technical and non-technical Learn and understand the assigned accounts’ extended business model and create offerings and solutions to meet corporate goalsAveraging 50 calls per day in a highly competitive environmentOther duties assigned


Qualifications:

 8+ years of experience in related software industry with at least 5-7 years in a selling role to Federal, DOD accounts. Experience selling in both a direct and an indirect or Channel driven modelExperience leading a team of professionals in sales campaigns that include Sales Executives, Field SE’s, Inside Sales, Field Marketing, Professional Services, etcProven track record of success selling in a highly competitive environmentGeneral management experience is a plus.
