Due to Melbourne IT’s recent expansion into Digital Brand Management Services (DBMS), a fantastic opportunity has arisen for you to lead the DBMS Finance Team.

 

Finance Director – The America’s

While reporting directly to the Executive Level, the Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing financial operations throughout the US expanding into Europe. As the Finance Director, you will be responsible for providing high quality and proactive analysis, advice and solutions to assist the company in meeting your objectives and reducing risk. The role will also see you taking the lead on managing the finance function to meet external reporting and compliance commitments, including consolidation and board reporting. Other duties will center on the information technology operation. This is a critical role to assist in driving the business through its growth phase while implementing best practice into the financial function.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be a CPA, preferably with a Master's degree, 10+ years qualified with experience gained from a publicly listed company, preferably within an IT services environment or a similar environment with global exposure.

 

Previous experience in a start-up organization, consolidating offices or establishing processes and procedures is greatly desired. If you have managed publicly listed financial reporting obligations and systems implementation, this will be highly regarded. Your prior experience in providing commercial strategic recommendations and advice is vital. If the keywords consolidation, tax and international appear on your resume more than once, this is the position for you.

 

Interpersonally you will have first class communication skills as it will be necessary to liaise with key stake-holders in all areas of the business. It is vital you are capable of leading from the front as well as taking a real hands on approach.
