Finance Manager - FP&A

This high-visibility position requires an energetic individual with a demonstrated ability to make key contributions in the analysis of financial and strategic issues.  The Finance Manager will have FP&A responsibility for both the corporate and the G&A support functions.  This individual will support corporate-lead budgeting, forecasting and management reporting activities, and assist on special projects, with significant interaction with the TIBCO executive team, including the CFO.  This Finance Manager will also be the key financial support for Finance, Legal, HR, and IT, interacting with all levels of management with responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, metrics analyses, and other ad-hoc analyses. This position reports to the Director FP&A.

 

Responsibilities:

-  Build and maintain company long-range financial models, incorporating appropriate financial measures to evaluate new projects, investments and potential M&A activities

-  Provide ad-hoc analysis and recommendations for resource allocation, project profitability, and other opportunistic and strategic decisions

-  Develop reporting for strategic initiatives

-  Partner with management to drive the development of detailed budgets, business plans, and forecasts

-  Coordinate with functional managers on process re-engineering efforts

-  Prepare management presentations

Education / Experience:

-  BS Finance or Accounting with 5-8 years of relevant experience; MBA strongly preferred

-  Software experience preferred
