Our customers rely on NAVTEQ digital map information for use in their applications based on its accuracy, detail and completeness.  We are currently looking for a Financial Business Systems Controls – Intern (10225) in Chicago, IL. Responsibilities: ·  Effectively liaise with business unit personnel from Finance, Accounting and Information Systems departments to gather information and document business processes;·  Effectively analyze and develop templates, queries, reports, etc. using CAAT and NAVTEQ business systems and applications;·  Perform data analysis on financial data for internal controls testing and monitoring;·  Assist department with maintaining and updating work documentation, department policies, department procedures, and department schedules; ·  Assist department in planning and organizing department functions and activities.Requirements: ·  Completing or have graduated with BS/BA in Information Systems or related disciplines (e.g. MIS, Computer Science, etc.);·  Detail oriented with excellent analytical and time management skills.  Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines;·  Excellent writing skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation and reports;·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to interact with employees from various backgrounds and cultures, in a professional and effective manner;·  Confident, proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic, quick learning, goal and results oriented;·  Demonstrated understanding of various computing platforms, relational databases, and network technologies, including client-server and middle-ware technologies;·  Experience with MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.  NAVTEQ is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer M/F/D/V  JOB TITLE: Financial Business Systems Controls Intern (10225) COMPANY: NAVTEQ LOCATION: Chicago, IL STATUS: Part Time, Intern JOB CATEGORY: Accounting/Finance/Insurance RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: Less than 1 Year CAREER LEVEL: Student (Undergraduate/Graduate) EMAIL: Apply by Email REFERENCE CODE: 10225
