SoundBite is seeking a hands-on Financial Operations Manager who will be responsible for accuracy, maintenance and review of general accounting systems including general ledger. Ensure compliance with GAAP. Ensure controls are in place for SOX compliance. This position is also responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual close activities, preparation of financial statements and analysis of Company operations as needed. Be responsible for contract and revenue recognition and daily revenue reporting. Manage and mentor Accounting staff including Accounts Payables and Receivables. Serve as payroll manager.
ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day functions of accountingPerform monthly, quarterly and annual close, including account reconciliation, journal entries, assessment of accruals and reserves.Maintain and enhance system of internal controls, recommending changes to improve systems and financial performanceReview/recommend cost reduction proposals, capital expenditure and cost analysis proposals to ensure company assets are employed efficiently.Implement efficient data sorting and entry procedures andmaintain comlete and accurate financial records.Process payroll Oversee accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivableEffectively lead, and develop staff.
Requirements:MBA in related field. CPA.7+ years directly related, managerial experience in the high-tech industry 10+ years’ total accounting experience Public company, Sarbanes-Oxley experience a plus Demonstrated and effective leadership experience Strong technical experience and knowledge of Demonstrated expertise utilizing MS Office and financial systems, Great Plains a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment
COMPENSATION and BENEFITS:
