Flash / Flex - Developer / Designer
FLEX/FLASH designer/developer
The ideal candidate will have a Web design portfolio that demonstrates expert design and development skills using FLEX 2 or FLEX 3 and Flash to create memorable user experiences for web audiences, particularly within the entertainment industry. Candidate will also participate in all parts of software/application development cycle including concept consultation, initial specification, build approach, and scheduling. Generate code according to specifications and business requirements. Fix bugs and unit test new code. Write technical documentation according to business and functional specifications. Build, support, and maintain existing web-based Flash applications.
Required Skills:
-Experience with FLEX 2 or FLEX 3
Experience guiding the direction of major Flash based technology initiatives.
- Experience producing Flash-based elements for multiple projects within tight deadlines.
- 4+ years experience in designing and maintaining web-based Flash Applications using Macromedia Flash with VERY heavy use of ActionScript 2.0 / OOD. (Flash video experience a plus).
- Experience in designing and developing Object Oriented programs in ActionScript 2.0 or other Object Oriented languages.
- Experience integrating Flash applications with other client-side and server-side technologies (via XML, etc.).
- Must be excellent at leading the debugging of Flash sites and troubleshooting code problems.
- Working knowledge of HTML/DHTML, XHTML, DXHTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of Photoshop.
- Flash UI development
- Flash remoting/CFC
- Flash Media Server
- Video integration
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to take a leadership role.
