Our Austin Texas location is searching for a Product Support Specialist who can address issues and/or concerns for our advertiser and publisher clients regarding Unicast Tools and Services. 

**Please note:  this is not a Flash Developer role**

Summary: Support and assist internal and external interactive teams in building and trafficking Unicast ad formats

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

 Proactively address issues/concerns for advertiser and publisher clients regarding Unicast tools and services, including development of documentation and in certain cases providing product training Troubleshoot ad units that fail quality assurance tests, including Flash functionality, cross-OS/Browser display/functional inconsistencies, etc. Learn and use the proprietary Unicast tool suite for ad creation, campaign management, and ad tag generation Support the Unicast Client Services department in launching and maintaining ad campaigns, which includes providing expertise in using company's ad deployment application, troubleshooting issues that negatively impact customer satisfaction, and providing basic training Support the Unicast Creative Services Department in authoring Flash creative assets, which includes maintaining FLA templates, maintaining support documentation, and possibly providing basic training Maintain appropriate and responsive working relationships with clients Compile, maintain, update and report on client issues via the Unicast Ticket Tracking system Support the Unicast QA department in reporting, tracking, and regressing bugs, refining test plans, and launching product releases Help develop and publish deployment workflows, creative authoring guidelines, FAQs, and help documentation for use by internal creative and client teams, ad agencies, and online publishers Help design and develop demos using Flash, JavaScript, DHTML, and HTML to prove and test new ad products Provide occassional on-call support after hours and on weekend

The ideal candidate must have the following background:Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent related work experience 2 or more years experience with Flash, ActionScript, HTML/DHTML, XML, and JavaScript. Hands on and working knowledge of web design and/or web development Strong problem solver with organizational and analytical skills  Strong attention to detail Strong written and oral communication skills

Additional knowledge preferred, but not required:

 Background with enterprise architectures Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Online advertising, ad serving, and/or advertising industry experience Familiarity with Enliven Platform, 3D modeling applications (i.e., Maya, 3ds max), Visio, and Macromedia Breeze (or any similar training tool)
