Full time SDET Lead/Manager (C#, .net, SQL) - No travel!

** Avanade has an exciting opportunity for an SDET Lead/Manager to join our team as a full time employee.Initially, you will be working onsite with our parent company, Microsoft, on an exciting long-term strategic project as part of a large team.

 

This is a hands-on role where a majority of your time will be spent digging into the code and providing creative technical solutions within a professional testing environment in addition to leading a team of seasoned SDETs.  If you thrive on solving complex problems, working with a world-class team and building and testing software using your C#, ASP.Net and SQL skills, then this is for you!  **

 

The successful candidate will have at minimum :

-   5 – 10 years of progressively responsible experience as a software design/development engineer in test  - experience to include test designs, test execution and test automation of commercial software (preferably business applications).

 -  Minimum of 1 year of test leadership and people management experience

 -  Experience with test planning and driving test execution of large projects

 -  Strong working knowledge of test methodologies, techniques, and  test automation tools/harnesses

-   A BA or BS degree in Computer Science, related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience

- Demonstrated strong hands-on knowledge and programming ability with C#, ASP.net, and SQL

-   Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT, Project, Sharepoint, LiveMeeting) - these are all tools used on daily basis to communicate information.

- A proven track record of product delivery; the ability to flesh out preliminary ideas, develop concrete designs and solid implementations

 

Elements of your background which would be a plus:

-  Prior consulting experience

-   Experience with large-scale, enterprise or commercial software

-   Knowledge of Dynamics AX 4.0 (MorphX, Modules, X++…)

-  ERP domain experience in Supplier Relationship Management, Order Management, Accounts Receivable, Manufacturing, Inventory, Distribution, and/or Financials is a positive.

-   Team player who works closely with developers, testers and customer groups
