Functional Analyst - Retail Focus

Job Responsibilities:

 

-  Gather business requirements for data warehousing and BI/reporting initiative spanning multiple functional  

departments using methods such as interactive business workshops, interviews, etc.

-  Document dependent data sources, definitions and reconcile any discrepancies with business definitions

-  Work with technical leads to identify system definitions

-  Identify and resolve sources of data quality / system definition issues

 

Required Skills:

 

-  Excellent communication skills, as this individual will be working directly with executives and managers within the business

- Attention to details

- A passion for applying technology to solve business challenges

-  Multi-task across several initiatives within one project

-  Experience with BI/data warehousing technologies and concepts

- Experience working with retail organizations a real plus

-  Experience with change management, user rollout, training and business process re-engineering

-  1-3 years relevant experience

- Ability to travel required
