GIS Business Solutions Consultant

Position Overview: 

Looking for a self motivated professional individual to perform customer needs assessments and demonstrate the company’s CityGIS technology.  Minimum 5 years experience with Geographical Information Systems and City environments are key requirements.  Travel is required.Responsibilities:

Digital Map Products (DMP), based in Santa Ana CA, is looking for a GIS Business Solutions Consultant with strong customer relationship experience. As a member of an expanded DMP Customer Success Team, you will work closely with our customers to ensure that CityGIS meets the agency’s GIS requirements by performing the following activities:

 

· Meet with customers and present technology in front of user groups to enhance CityGIS awareness and business practices.

· Conduct customer needs assessments and demonstrate the company’s CityGIS technology. 

· Active out-bound phone and email engagement with assigned customers focused on end-user productivity with CityGIS.

· Administer programs to enhance customer communication and satisfaction. Requirements/ Qualifications

· Domain expertise in GIS technologies required.

· Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills as well as a high degree of multi-tasking skills.

· Comfort with “small company” culture experiencing rapid growth.

· Experienced with City organizations is a benefit.

· Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Science, Planning, Geography, Computer Science or a related field.

· Ability to self-start, willingness to learn new skills, and ability to think creatively.

· Travel is required.
