DepartmentDatabase ServicesResponsibilitiesWork directly with clients on multi-million dollar projects related to the PLTS Nautical Solution.Coordinate with project managers to deliver on-time requirements to customers.Lead solutions team on process frameworks, quality assurance, and programming efficiency. Oversee all SDLC reviews including design and development details of COTS solutions.Facilitate team growth that supports project requirements and business strategies.RequirementsMinimum of five years of progressive experience in GIS-related programming.B.S. or M.S. in computer science or related field; additional MBA or related degree and/or PMI certification is preferred.Demonstrated leadership roles in a team work setting.Demonstrated programming proficiency in C++, COM C++, C#, VB.NET.Strong understanding of VS 2005, MS Visio, UML.Recommended QualificationsProgramming experience in Java, Windows batch script, or Python.Experience with Oracle 9i/10g (Spatial), SQL Server, MySQL, Access, ArcSDE.Experience programming in an ESRI software environment.Knowledge of development processes (ISO 9001-2000, IEEE).Experience with domain standards including nautical (S-57 / S-100) or aeronautical (AIXM).
