GUI / Software Development Engineer

The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing the user interface for a digital home networking solution and incorporating it into the business logic of the system. The ideal candidate will have strong web design skills and GUI development experience in support of an embedded device.  Experience with consumer electronic devices is desired.

 

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

 Ability to develop user interfaces for control devicesExperience with commercial software development through the full software development lifecycle Entrepreneurial drive and the ability to excel within an informal startup environment Demonstrated ability to deliver products on time. Strong academic credentials and a track record of high impact technical and leadership achievements. BSEE/BSCS 2-5+ years development experience. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment collaborating with a cross-functional team

Required Technical skills: Real-time embedded development in a Linux environment Ability to develop a highly usable GUI based on high level requirements PHP programming experience Experience with developing interfaces to control IP enabled devices

 

Additional Desired Skills: Java, C/C++ or .NET programming experience GUI prototyping and user validation
