POSITION:   Game Software Engineer

DEPARTMENT: Game Development

LOCATION:   Minnetonka, MN
Job Summary

Work closely with the Game Development team consisting of artists, sound designers and game designers to implement and refine new game ideas.

Qualifications Required

BS required (MS preferred) in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field. Three to five years of experience in programming required.  Strong C++ skills preferred. 3D graphics programming experience a plus. Strong math skills a plus.  Candidates must have excellent organizational skills, good oral and written communications skills, and a high level of interpersonal skills. Must be a self-motivated team player with the ability to work in a customer oriented, very fast-paced, and demanding environment with minimal supervision.  Must be able to work overtime as required.  A security investigation will be conducted. Some travel may be required.  Skills & Ability to identify problems, analyze the situation and make appropriate recommendations and decisions to achieve team goals.

Responsibilities

· Work closely with the Game Development team consisting of artists, sound designers and game designers to design, develop, modify, review, test and document software in a fast-paced environment.

· Establish, monitor and achieve goals with minimal supervision.

· Work to oversee and improve software development process including requirements, design, and testing.

· Ensures product conforms to customer performance expectations.
