General Office Assistant/ Mail Clerk SoftPro has an opening for a General Office Assistant in our Raleigh, NC office. This is an office environment. In this position you will be responsible for: •Managing the company shipping/receiving room and related shipping requests. oDaily processing/filling of sales orders and creating customer invoices using a company database application. oDaily processing of general shipping requests. oInventory of shipping and sales supplies. oDuplicating/labeling SoftPro applications on to CD’s. •Daily receiving, sorting, and delivering all shipments. •Daily, processing of all in-house mail and delivering to drop box. •Assisting departments with various mailings and job fairs. •Assisting Marketing Department with shipping materials for marketing events. •Assisting with any special project work as needed. •Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: To be successful in this position, you will need to be: •highly motivated, have strong organizational skills, •be able to multi-task, •have a high attention to detail, •be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, the Windows environment and computers in general. •Must be flexible to the changing workloads of this position throughout the year •Must be a team player and have a customer-service oriented attitude. •Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. •Prior shipping department experience, and UPS and Federal Express software knowledge is a plus! Education Requirements: High School diploma or GED required
