Graphic Designer

Position: Graphic Artist

The Graphic Artist will be designing the products for the next generation of exciting products for mobile phones, PDA’s and smart phones.

 

Responsibilities

 

·  Design UI for mobile devices. Includes drafting wireframes, evaluating color schemes, designing navigation buttons/menus, selecting fonts.

·  Translate functional specs to actual designs for mobile applications

·  Optimize graphics for various handsets given size/memory limitations

·  Design video game trailers

·  Create mock-screenshots for game design concepts, for inclusion in pitches to brand-owners and major clients.

·  Design WAP and web interfaces

·  Suggest alternatives for prototypes

 

 


Required Qualifications:

 

·  Experience as lead designer/ graphic artist in a mobile games or applications company that distributes content to multiple mobile devices

·  Familiar with 2D pixel art techniques, with experience creating game characters and background art.

·  Very detail-oriented, imaginative/creative

·  Adept at using graphics software – Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Flash, etc. (PC& MAC)

·  Experience designing logos, mockups, and other marketing and presentation materials

·  Experience designing ads for print, mobile, web

·  Experience with animation (flash, gif, etc.) and video a plus

·  Able to multitask and meet tight deadlines
