Position Overview

This position supports business planning and analysis through ownership and delivery of key business processes, reporting, and data analytics. This highly cross-functional role will touch all areas of the company including sales, product development, marketing, operations, international, IT and other finance groups. This person reports to the Senior Director of Business Planning.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Partners with business unit leadership, finance and sales to prepare business plans, budgets, monthly forecasts and demand plans.

Analyzes and develops business plans. Perform external/internal research and analysis on viability of strategies and business plans. Ensures assumptions are uniformly applied in all business plan projections.

Performs various analytics to support decision-making and strategy formulation for senior business executives.

Supports processes for business planning. Creates reports and analytical models to support business planning and reporting processes, including product profitability models and monthly actuals vs plan reports.

Prepares analytics and financial summaries to support corporate strategic planning and reporting to board of directors and shareholders.

Manages pricing control process (SOX) and pricing analysis.

Administers and maintains data in Cognos Enterprise Planning (CEP) applications for product planning. Maintain models, structures, and security, loading data, and reporting.

Manages projects on next generation improvements to planning tools and processes. Identifies areas for improvement. Builds improvements in planning and excel-based tools and templates.

Position Qualifications:

BA/BS in Economics, Business, Finance or Information Systems from a top school.

3 or more years of related finance and financial systems experience

Strong financial skills with demonstrated experience and interest in a wide range of financial tools and applications (e.g. Oracle, Cognos, Hyperion, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access)

Strong problem-solving and structured thinking ability

Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills

Self-starter, able to complete job assignments in an accurate and timely manner with minimal supervision

High degree of commitment, motivation and personal integrity

Demonstrated knowledge and interest in the toy and gaming space
