All of our tools and technologies are home-grown by our in-house development team located in Beverly, Massachusetts. From point solutions for developers to integrated configured software for administrators and IT Managers, to strategic consulting and special services for CIOs, our involvement is present at every level.

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Group Financial Controller to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Beverly, MA. The Group Financial Controller is responsible for the financial governance of the Group, including accounting and financial reporting and implementation and monitoring of internal controls. The Group includes the U.K.-based parent, plus subsidiary companies based in the U.S., U.K. and Japan. Although the parent company is U.K. based, the Group is managed and controlled from the U.S. headquarters in Beverly, MA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Group Financial Controller, reporting to the CEO, is responsible for developing and improving group financial methods, policies and standards. This position is responsible for producing timely financial reports, analysis and forecasting; ensuring compliance with internal control policies, procedures and regional statutory requirements; and assisting with corporate legal requirements. Additional responsibilities include:

·Management of Group accounting and treasury functions.

·Management of a small team of local and overseas finance personnel.

·Performance of internal audit reviews and work with external auditors

·Processing of payroll and calculation of sales commissions and performance based bonuses for all regions.

·Design, implementation and monitoring of financial policies and procedures.

·Performance of other duties as may be assigned.



REQUIRED SKILLS

·CPA or the equivalent international certification.

·Knowledge of federal and state financial and tax regulations. Experience with international accounting principles and standards a plus.

·Experience in a corporate controller or assistant controller position, while demonstrating an ability to thrive in and gain satisfaction from an environment of constant change and evolution.

·Strong knowledge of financial governance and internal controls.

·Detail oriented with a strong commitment to quality and rigor in all accounting transactions.

·Organizational and time management skills required to deliver accurate reports and complete transactions within agreed timescales while simultaneously making progress on ad-hoc projects.

·Flexibility, creativity and intellectual capacity required to tackle business issues and develop solutions based on available resources.

·Demonstrated success in managing staff in a similar position.

·Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with staff, management and external advisors.
