Group Program Manager

Job Description: Interested in an exciting role building a game-changing, market-making v1 product? StartKey is an innovative new product designed to transform removable flash storage devices into intelligent, secure and indispensable computing companions. We are building an end-to-end consumer product with custom hardware, software, a killer UX, SDK, applications and services to target consumers in both developed and emerging markets. We have a partnership in place that guarantees tens of millions of units distributed worldwide each year, and we are actively recruiting additional partners. This is a high profile engineering project run out of a startup environment that offers a unique opportunity to learn about additional product development areas such as marketing, UX, business development and industry relations. As the StartKey Lead Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing a high caliber PM team with diverse backgrounds in EE, networking, cryptography, social networking, and OEM partner management. You will lead the design and implementation of our software experience, delivering multiple innovative features as well as driving change to core Windows OS infrastructure. You must excel at building strong relationships with your dev and test lead counterparts, and must be capable of working effectively with a team of knowledgeable and senior engineers both within our team and across the Windows division. This is a complex job requiring strong technical and strategic acumen as well as extremely good cross group collaboration skills. Job Requirements: Qualified candidates should have the following skills/experience:·  Demonstrated experience shipping multiple products·  Strong technical background, with deep experience in at least one of the following: UI/Shell, Windows Architecture, Setup, Windows Live, Web Services/SOA·  Top notch people and project-management skills·  Ability to effectively work with, influence and drive change across teams·  Excellent written and oral communication skill; 6) Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field Microsoft offers an excellent benefits package to full-time employees including medical, dental, vacation, employee stock purchase plan, and 401k, plus some great extras including: our 24-hour nurse line, stay fit program, product discounts, and paid infant care leave.
