Job Summary
Emergisoft Corporation is the leading developer and provider of Emergency Department Information Systems. We are seeking an individual with high energy, able to focus on multiple projects, and experienced in software development using Microsoft technologies.
Candidates will be exposed to many cutting-edge technologies, both software and hardware. Candidates must be able to demonstrate extensive technical knowledge and experience working with various software environments and solutions. Experience working in the Health Care Industry is desired but not required.
Job Responsibilities
Provide initial research and evaluate new technologies, prepares design specifications, and presents analysis for recommendations and approvals. Participate in the design, implementation and reviews of subsystems. Review, Document and Optimize existing subsystems. Demonstrated analytical, business-planning and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify issues, requirements and opportunities for improvement. Low-level design, construction and integration of subsystems. Be able to work in an extremely fast paced environment, learn and attain new skill sets, meet or beat deadlines even on aggressively scheduled projects. Collaborate with QA to develop and execute test plans Qualifications
A BS or MS CS degree and 2 to 5 years of experience is required. Knowledge and experience on C#, .NET Framework is required. Knowledge and experience on C/C++ required. Good understanding and experience of HTML, XML/XSLT, SOAP, CSS2, DHTML, and JavaScript is a must. Good Understanding of HL7 and Hospital workflows is desired. Expert Level knowledge of SQL/database experience in SQL Server and/or Oracle environments is required. Exposure to Visual Basic/Scripting experience is desired. Strong and Effective Communication Skills is a must. MCAD/MCSD certification is a plus. Application Requirements
