HR Business Partner

KNOWLEDGE: Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position. JOB COMPLEXITY: Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel. SUPERVISION: Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.EXPERIENCE: Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience. ROLE DESCRIPTION: Prepare, analyze and design ‘interventions’ based on HR reports such as weekly staffing satistics by group, quarterly turnover, LOA’s, education reimbursement, out of cycle promotions/ salary adjustments, performance management data, unvested stock position reports. Compile and analyze workforce planning documents for groups. Conduct job leveling meetings and conduct FLSA audits for groups. Assist in developing policy/programs and tools to facilitate the Business Partners in the client groups. Communicate and implement new compensation programs. Assist in developing organizational redesigns and realignments, including 'new manager assimilation' sessions and transition plans. Assist in the implementation of these plans. Resolve sensitive disciplinary issues at all levels (excluding executive). Assist in investigating employee complaints, inclusive of discrimination and harassment complaints. Assess training and development needs of organization and recommend programs or tools to assist with those needs. Work closely with the Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits, HR Operations, Training and Development and HRIS to implement and administer programs. Facilitate 1:1 employee/ manager meetings, particularly to assist in conflict resolution. May assist in facilitating larger group meetings.
