Summary: 

 

Responsible for day to day Human Resource functions within Service Repair Solutions.  Will handle employee relations issues, this includes counseling of managers and employees as well as the assistance in discipline situations.  The HR Generalist will recruit, interview, screen, and hire non-exempt and exempt openings.  The HR Generalist will field questions in relation to compensation and benefits.  Position will conduct training on various topics to various mediums. Assist in the administration of Service Repair Solutions’ policies and procedures. 


Responsibilities:  Meet with management to understand current and future staffing levels needed to proactively recruit candidates to satisfy business needs.Recruit for multi-offices, with heavy emphasis on technical positions. Investigates and analyzes local market conditions to implement effective recruiting.Ensure that all federal, state, local laws, and corporate HR policies and procedures are proactively managed in all office locations.Assist in the administration of all confidential investigation of all Workers’ Compensation / unemployment issues, Affirmative Action, EEO, Sexual Harassment, and other employee relations issues.Conduct New Hire Orientation and training.Performs general administrative functions including but not limited to employee file maintenance, preparation of legal compliance logs, and ADP data entry and maintenance.Assist with Unemployment claims, FMLA, ADA, HIPPA, OSHA, benefits, and COBRA administration.Perform all recruiting duties within the guidelines of company policy and government regulations such as EEOC compliance.Maintain company posting requirements and systems.Conduct various training classes and mediums. Other responsibilities as directed by the needs of the business or by the VP of HR.

Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years Human Resources work experience.1-2 years technical recruiting experience. 4-year degree or equalivant.Ability to promote positive image of SRSStrong relationship building skillsStrong analytical skillsEffective oral and written communication skillsSelf directed and proactiveAbility to lead and be a member of a teamExperience with ADP systems a plus.PC literacy in MS Office Applications, word processing spreadsheets, and databasesStrong sense of urgency Able to adapt to the ever changing needs of a start up company
