HRIS Analyst - 9814

Our customers rely on NAVTEQ digital map information for use in their applications based on its accuracy, detail and completeness.  We are currently looking for a HRIS Analyst – 9814 in Chicago, IL. Position Summary:  As a member of the Human Resources team the HRIS Analyst will assist in the analysis, design, testing and implementation of complex business applications involving HR data that align with the business plan, goals and objectives of NAVTEQ.  In this role, the analyst will provide support, guidance and technical expertise to human resource professionals, recruiters and other internal customers on HR system needs and issues. Responsibilities:  Assist in the development, implementation and support of Human Resource Information System - PeopleSoft Develops user requirements into functional specifications Conduct process analysis and design, gap analysis, functional system design and specification, and system configuration Develop and maintain technical work plans, system tests plans and procedure documentation Support and execute unit test plans as new modules are implemented Work closely with PeopleSoft Technical team to prepare test data, execute system tests, and take action to solve system problems Recognize business processes that can be improved through technology and build solutions Coordinate data entry for PeopleSoft including day to day system and user support Maintain clear understanding of business functions and interrelationships of business units as they relate to the corporate HR system Document specification, user manuals, procedures, and other relevant information  Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources or related field with 3 - 5 years experience in HRIS Advanced Excel, PeopleSoft, Access, query/reporting technical skills Strong problem solving and analytical skills Capable of producing ad-hoc work with quick turn-around and high degree of accuracy Excellent project management, planning and organizational skills Emphasis on interpersonal, oral/written communication and presentation skills with ability to communicate technical information in non-technical terms Experience with PeopleSoft Experience with Crystal Reports or a report writing tool  NAVTEQ is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer M/F/D/V  JOB TITLE: HRIS Analyst - 9814 COMPANY: NAVTEQ LOCATION: Chicago, IL 60606 STATUS: Full Time, Employee JOB CATEGORY: Human Resources RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 2+ to 5 Years CAREER LEVEL: Experienced (Non-Manager) EDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelor's Degree EMAIL: Apply by Email REFERENCE CODE: 9814
