This project involves migrating 6800 employees from a Novell GroupWise email system operated and maintained by the client to a system based on Microsoft Outlook 2003/Exchange 2007 operated and maintained at the the client site in Madison, While several agencies throughout Wisconsin have transferred their email services over to the client, only one small agency converted from Novell GroupWise to Microsoft Outlook. We anticipate up to 10 times the normal number of computer help desk support calls daily for portions of this project.. The staff obtained under this contract will help existing support staff for the project duration.

 

We want the staff to under this RFS to provide expert level technical assistance for Microsoft Outlook 2003 and Microsoft Office 2003. Therefore, the positions require extensive knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Outlook 2003 and Microsoft Office 2003. Knowledge of desktop operating systems, desktop applications, desktop hardware, laptop systems, desktop printer support, PDAs, Black Berries, other supported wireless devices and peripherals is a plus. This Title receives escalated level support issues from helpdesk and Enterprise Support Center. Has 4-7 years of experience in Desktop Support with expert knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003 and Microsoft Outlook 2003. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
