Role: 

 

THQ, a global leader in the entertainment software industry, is seeking a full-time HR Data Administrator.  This individual will report to the Director, Human Resources-Worldwide Studios, and be responsible for processing a variety of HR documents for studio personnel. Using your experience and attention to detail, you will help to create efficiencies across the HR Dept through accurate entry of personnel data and document processing. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Administer Time & Attendance for selected Studio & Product Development groups.  Input and verify information, making corrections as necessary. Working diligently to ensure accurate information is provided to Payroll in a timely manner

· Utilize HR data to create & generate a variety of charts, graphs and reports on a regular basis.  Anticipate the need for data/information and contribute to the efficiency & effectiveness of the HR function by providing reports which are accurate, relevant and ‘user/client friendly’.

· Provide data & support to various HR projects as required.  Gather information, respond to requests in a timely manner and generate reports accordingly.

· Perform other related duties as assigned

· Provide additional administrative support to the Director, including routing materials through other departments, preparing meetings materials and documents, and other tasks as needed.

 

Qualifications:

 

· High School or equivalent degree required; college credit or degree is a plus

· 2-4 years related experience with data entry, report writing & database related duties

· Detail oriented, able to multi-task, prioritize efficiently and meet deadlines

· Self-motivated, willing to learn new skills

· Excellent communication skills both verbal & written

· Organized and detail oriented – able to successfully handle multiple tasks & changing priorities simultaneously

· Able to work independently AND within a team environment

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)

 

 

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with ADP HR Profile

· Experience with SAP – HRIS

· PHR or SPHR certification

· Experience supporting employees in multiple sites, domestic and/or international
