Participate in identifying tools for employee development and track results. Confer with management, supervisors and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in ploicies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies. Participate in establishing and modifying performance appraisal program as appropriate to ensure linkage to business needs; ensure performance appraisals are quality and timely. Track performance metrics and provide analysis. Oversight of all compensation and benefit administration. maintains full knowledge of all plans in order to educate and advise staff and managers on benefits and compensation matters as well as participating in surveys. Maintains relationship with all benefit matters as well as participating in surveys. Maintains relationship with all benefit vendors and ensures that timely changes are made with regards to adds and deletes. Initiates open enrollment activity and ensure annual IRS and DOL tax filings are completed. Maintain various HR Programs and initiatives such as attracting and retention. Participate in the development and assessment of HR programs to ensure results meet business needs. Participates in organizational structure development to include job descriptions and classification. Serve as primary contact point for employee relations matters. Provide counsel and support to management on managing employees Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations. Ensures legal compliance for state and federal employment laws.Other Duties: Maintain current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws regarding human resources May serve as a backup for other HR team members Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time Serves as a contact to people inside and outside the company 5-7 year of progressive human resources management experience, perferable in the high-tech or interactive media industry. PHR or SPHR designation desired and bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent experience required. Strong demonstrated skill in organizational effectiveness, talent management, leadership development, change management, workforce planning, and project management. Bulider of relationships, ability to coach and influence internally and externally. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and creativity. Strong judgment, critical thinking, and verbal and written skills.Proficiency with HRIS systems and metrics reporting. Must be able to establish credibility throughout the organization with management and the employees in order to be an effective listener and problem solver with regard to people issues.
