We work closely with our technology partners to provide a comprehensive solution that meets your needs.DescriptionReports to: Regional Vice President, Human ResourcesSummary: We are seeking a hands-on Manager of Human Resources to prepare for strategic growth. This position will be based in Carlsbad, CA.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.As the Manager you will be responsible for a complete design-build-implement effort encompassing and integrating all HR processes and policies. • Develops policies and procedures consistent with company human resources strategies and systems and state and federal employment law. Directs the interpretation and application of said policies throughout the company.• Conducts continuing reviews of all personnel policies, programs and practices to keep company abreast of current best practices and ensure that the company is able to recruit, motivate and retain the right people.• Plans and implements human resources programs for all areas of human resources including recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, training and development, health and safety, performance management and employee relations. • Supervises HR staff.• Coordinates with immigration lawyer for all visa-related issues.• Recruits for open full-time and contract positions.• Maintains company compensation guidelines and practices.• Manages the company’s benefits programs, including reward and recognition programs.• Initiates, develops and manages both legally required training and employee professional development programs. • Provides coaching and counseling to employees and managers for employee relations issues.• Negotiates and implements all human resource vendor contracts.Experience:* 5+ years experience in a management human resources role, ideally within an international high tech or software company.* Must be a demonstrated strategic thinker/ leader. * Thorough knowledge and understanding of multiple human resources disciplines including employee and labor relations, employee benefits, compensation, immigration/visas/international HR, performance management, policy formulation, training and organizational development, recruitment and retention, and legal and regulatory compliance. * Good business acumen and vision. * Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.* High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and approachability with ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; * Good analytical skills with demonstrated ability for problem-solving. * Good listening, reasoning, and influencing skills with ability to balance business needs with employee advocacy. * Ability to manage conflict while maintaining composure and professionalism.Education:*Bachelor’s Degree required, ideally in Business, HR Management, or related discipline. *PHR or SPHR Certification preferred.Submitting a resume online at a job site could cause valuable screening information to be missed.
