AAJ Technologies (www.aajtech.com) is a premier consulting firm focused on business process improvement through the application of technology.  Based in South Florida,  AAJ is a Microsoft Gold Certified Managed Partner and provides a full range of information technology based solutions to small and mid-size businesses as well as Fortune 500 organizations.

 

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in South Florida.

 

Position Overview:
The ideal sales executive will have 2 or more years of proven sales, business development and account management experience. Experience in developing sales/ business development strategies and successfully executing them is a must.

 

Responsibilities:

· Develop and pursue all qualified sales opportunities in a timely manner and develop professional proposals including pricing. 

· Actively pursue all qualified sales leads from all channels: cold-calls, referrals, existing accounts, and qualified deals from other AAJ sales personnel.

· Contact prospect decision makers and determine whether an opportunity exists for AAJ.

· Thoroughly identify each prospect’s needs and requirements.

· Coordinate with AAJ’s management and pre-sales technical team to develop an effective solution that addresses all requirements.

· Develop and submit professional proposals.

· Provide timely and thorough follow-up to all prospect questions.

· Develop professional presentations, and present them to senior prospect management, when these are required for the deal.

· Understand when other resources within AAJ are required to prepare and submit a compelling and effective proposal.

· Negotiate and close deals.

· Communicate and manage all opportunities through the complete prospect and proposal process.

· Complete and submit all opportunities through AAJ’s CRM solution in a timely manner.

· Attend all mandatory sales meetings and review the progress of each major proposal.

· Manage client relationships at the senior level throughout the engagement. 

· Assure that expectations are in line with what was proposed and sold.

· Manage the relationship in a coordinated way with AAJ’s technical team.


Requirements:

· Must be a ‘Hunter’ with the ability to identify, penetrate and develop new accounts.

· Minimum 2 years of proven sales, business development and account management experience with.

· Must be highly motivated and have a proven track record.

· Experienced in developing sales / business development strategies and successfully executing them.

· Ability to communicate, present and build relationships at all levels with clients including line-of-business management as well as IT.

· Must have significant contacts / leads and ability to generate new leads.

· Ability to manage, retain and significantly grow strategic accounts.

· Excellent networking and cold calling skills.

· Ability to drive sales processes to closure and consistently exceed assigned quota

· Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and communication skills are a must.

· Strong organizational, analytical, and decision making skills

· An ability and willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do what it takes to get the job done

· Solid knowledge of IT and software technologies (preferably new Microsoft tools and technologies).

· Stable work history and excellent references

· Bachelor’s degree and strong computer skills (MS Office) are basic requirements.
