Click here to learn more about Scottrade.Position Summary:The Director of Enterprise Application's primary responsibility is to oversee the streamlined operation of all non-production applications and to ensure they align with the business objectives of the organization. This individual's principal goals are to develop and manage application portfolios for each non-production application and to attain all IT service level agreements for the user community within the organization. The Director of EA will plan, coordinate, and provide direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations. The Director of EA will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all non-production aspects of the organization.Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the management of corporate data and information supporting non-production systems. Responsible for planning current and future technology directions of non-production applications. Responsible for strategy, coordination, and integration of 3rd party software products used in non-production systems. Develop and maintain a set of Policies and Procedures for technology usage. Other projects/duties as assigned. Required Skills 15 years experience in an IT environment (brokerage or financial services background preferred). 10 years experience in IT management. Technical understanding of Internet based application hosting and client server application processing. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage large projects in IT, business system applications, QA and release management. Understanding of the budgeting process and a proven ability to work within a given budget. Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Foster company success through a professional appearance, being courteous to customers & all Scottrade associates, and by having a positive attitude.
