Position Description:

 

Senior QA professional responsible for the overall coordination of front to back testing for complex messaging based repo architecture.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Enhance, formalize and automate QA procedures for the above environment

- Assist in the diagnosis, resolution, and escalation of technical and business processing issues within the UAT environment

- Drive application and adoption of QA automation tools such as QTP, Mercury Quality Center, etc

- Follow SDLC+ development methodology and best practice

 

Experience and Skills Required/Desired:

 

Required Work Experience:  

- 7+ years experience with QA process

- 5+ years experience development for front or back office investment banking trading systems

Required Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge:

- Strong knowledge of QA process and automation techniques

- Strong troubleshooting knowledge on unix and windows platform, including messaging middleware

- Strong working knowledge large front office trading systems

- Working knowledge of messaging infrastructure, ideally MQ Series and EMS

- Working SQL, ideally in both Oracle and Sybase platforms

- Ability to coordinate across teams and across locations/timezones

Desirable Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge:

- Knowledge of fixed income repo markets and bond markets.

Required  Education and Professional Qualifications:

- BS / BA in Computer Science or equivalent
