IT Software Developer/Engineer

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include supporting critical software applications, demonstrating thorough knowledge of objectives

and processes in major segments of the organization, and promoting and developing communication between IT and

business units, technical staff and vendors to integrate information systems with cross-functional and/or enterprise wide

business strategies.

Software Developers will support management to develop and implement business solutions and optimize operations,

conduct impact analysis of systems, upgrades and changes for major segments of the organization, and may oversee

systems and business processes for feasibility.

Software Developers will also prepare problem definition documentation, maintain and demonstrate expert knowledge of

information systems technology, facilitate process mapping sessions for highly complex, multi-segment business processes,

and provide data to support the ROI model. Additional responsibilities include:

Complying with SDLC standards for creation and/or implementation of software in a project based environment

Defining project scope, document user requirements, build functional requirements, document custom code, system

validation, and release management.

Managing customer expectations and communication (both oral and written)

Team player on all IT projects

Qualifications:

Software Developers will have experience in a variety of areas to support the business objectives:

3- 5 years ERP/MRP/SCM experience in either JDE, Oracle onDemand, SAP Light, Axapta or MAS 500. Strong

knowledge in interface development and customization

3-5 years OTC experience with eCommerce solutions

2-3 years web based application development

3-5 years Database experience with either MS SQL 2000 or higher or ORACLE 9i or higher

Experience with Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 with a focus on C#, ASP.Net in a windows based

environment

Strong knowledge of variety of programming languages: VB, HTML, Javascript, PERL, JAVA, .NET, or ability to

quickly learn and adapt.

Strong knowledge of IIS, SSL, PGP

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science,
