Essential Functions: Uses acquired skills and experience related to business management and operations management, to provide support to end users, and facilitates solving their business problems/issues with software functionality and available technology. Often acts as a technical expert, and assists users in defining their needs, analyzing and documenting their business process, as well as drafting requirement documentation, for programming requests. Responsible for/assists with, the creation of procedures for applications functionality. Responsible for programming and support tasks for the major information systems. Responsible for training users in the interpretation of information systems reports, and to effectively use the business system. Formulates or assists in/defining project scopes and objectives, that they may be involved with. Reviews and evaluates project feasibility studies based on requirements and priorities. Active member on business system implementation project team, supporting successful project metrics and operation of information systems and required equipment. Acts as a liaison between information systems and other functions in the company. Acts to ensure integrity of corporate data, proprietary information and related intellectual property through information security and access management. Education, Training, and Skill Recommendations/Requirements: College degree required; plus two (2) years related experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with structured, object oriented code development. Experience with Business Intelligence systems and manufacturing companies preferred. Experience with SQL and Microsoft Reporting Services software preferred. Experience with SQL Server, Analysis Services, and Integration Services a plus. Experience with Microsoft .net technology preferred. Must be willing to travel, up to approximately 25% annually.
