IT TECHNICIAN

Overview:

Yosemite Technologies, Inc. has a current opening for an IT Technician to join our IT team.  The position will provide exposure to an Enterprise-class network and many different technologies offering an invaluable experience for the right person.  The skill-set, schedule and overall employability of the candidates will be factored into the final determination.  Both contractor and employee candidates will be considered.  This position is based in Fresno, CA.

 

Responsibilities:Maintenance and troubleshooting of the physical network (wires, switches, routers, firewalls, etc.)Data Management – Access control to file shares; Backup; Archiving and organizationEnd User Support and TrainingWindows 2000 / XP / 2003 / VistaMS Office 2003/2007FTP (FileZilla)Web IE / FirefoxCisco VPN ClientMcAfee Virus ScannerZip (7 Zip)Backup (FileKeeper / Yosemite Backup)CD Mastering (Nero 7)MS ProjectMS VisioSource control and bug tracking (Seapine SCP / TTPro)MS CRMMS Great Plains DynamicsMS SharePointShoretel VoIP systemMS Visual Studio

Qualifications:Experience in as many of the above Applications as possibleCisco/Microsoft Certifications: MCP/MCSA/MCSE, CCNA, etc.A.S. degree or greater in Computer Science or a related fieldAt least 1 to 2 years of experience in an IT related customer support roleExcellent interpersonal skills
