IT Windows Administrator

Position Description:

Position requires an experienced individual to deploy and maintain a variety of Windows 2003 Servers, including, Active Directory, SQL Server 2000 & 2005, MOM and SharePoint 2007. The candidate will install and maintain enterprise-class servers and all related processes. Responsibilities include system security, capacity planning, performance monitoring, tuning technologies and complex troubleshooting and problem resolution of server issues. Detect, analyze, diagnose and resolve problems associated with server hardware, network operating systems and application software. Maintain system integrity concerning data and computing resources and take corrective actions as necessary. Maintain a Windows 2003 Active Directory infrastructure and all related services and processes including GPO creation, OU management and security. Responsible for daily administrative duties, provisioning servers, and implementing upgrades as necessary. Provide third level support to customers and IT Staff on issues relating to Windows client/server infrastructure and interoperability. Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical disciplines Six+ years of related experienceDemonstrated knowledge and experience with Windows Active Directory/LDAP, SQL Server 2000/2005, MOM and SharePoint 2007. Solid understanding of TCP/IP, Networking Experience with clustering & load balancing of Windows servers. Experience with SAN technologies Demonstrated experience of successfully meeting deadlinesProven ability to work with minimal supervision Windows 2000/2003 MCSE preferred.
