We provide investors with a broad range of brokerage, mutual fund and consumer financial products and services on an integrated basis.TD AMERITRADE is seeking a IVR Developer to join their team in Columbia, MD.ROLE:This role is responsible for support and development of our IVR (Interactive Voice Response) application and WFM (Work Force Management) business tool suite. This position requires good troubleshooting skills, emerging development skills and the ability to work with a small team of developers and business contacts. This is an excellent opportunity for a technologist that wants to broaden his/her development of a voice application. The person will use VoiceXML, Javascript, Java Server Pages and SQL to maintain and improve the IVR application. The eligible candidate will also use their technical skill set to diagnose and resolve problem tickets and help administer two applications/systems used by our Call Center management team - Blue Pumpkin (a workforce management application) and Witness Systems ' specifically eQuality Balance. The position requires an eagerness to learn and initiative to take ownership of new tasks.RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the development and support of the IVR application Provide support for Blue Pumpkin and Witness Work within an established team of technology support personnel Investigate and resolve help desk tickets Limited travel may be required QUALIFICATIONS: Strong communications skills Technology orientated background. 2+ years of development experience Voice or telephony experience preferred. (VoiceXML or similar voice development) Experience with WFM (Work Force Management) tools is a plus. Demonstrated ability to support an internal business application. Candidate should be motivated and open to gaining new development skills and WFM knowledge.
