Implementation/Business Consultant - Work with Traders, Portfolio Managers, etc.

Eze Castle Software is currently seeking a Business Consultant for our office in Midtown. Eze Castle Software is a member of BNY ConvergEx Group, a premier provider of agency trading and investment technology. Eze is a leading, global financial services technology company based in the US with offices located across the US and UK. We provide our clients with real-time, global investment technology solutions to automate their investment process. Our core offering, the award-winning Eze OMS streamlines the trading workflow by bringing together the functionality to support portfolio management, compliance, trading, and operations in a single platform.

Business Consultants at Eze are responsible for implementing the Eze OMS and managing the company’s client relationships, comprised of top hedge funds and other investment firms. Each Consultant will be assigned to a team based in Boston, Stamford, New York, or San Francisco, and will interact on a daily basis with Portfolio Managers, Traders, CFO’s and CTO’s, and Operations and IT support. Our philosophy is to be a partner – not a vendor – and our goal is to ensure we continue to streamline and enhance the investment process as a client’s business needs evolve. Most client sites are local and travel will be minimal (< 10%).

Job Functions Gathering and documenting business requirements and analysis, system configuration and integration, and user workflow trainingOversee and manage client accounts and coordinate with cross-functional Eze teams to provide ongoing support

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 2-5 years of professional experienceAnalytical thinking and problem solving abilitiesEffective communication and relationship building skillsManaging multiple projects and client expectations Active interest in understanding the financial markets and the investment process will be important. Managing multiple projects and client expectationsExperience with databases and SQL is a plus. A programming background is not required, but the aptitude and desire to learn our software and new technologies is important. An ideal candidate will thrive in the fast-paced environment of a hedge fund and will be able to think quickly and calmly in challenging situations.
