Job Title: Implementation Consultant

 

Responsibilities:Our consultants provide a variety of services to help customers make the best use of our product, Projector. Projector is used by professional services organizations such as consulting firms to run their businesses by helping them track time and expenses, invoice their clients, schedule their resources, and manage their projects. Projector PSA’s implementation consultants become experts on our product and utilize that knowledge to lead the successful configuration and rollout of Projector to our clients’ organizations.

  Business Consulting Our consultants spend much of their time talking with clients to understand their businesses and to determine the best way to model their organizations within Projector. During the course of a typical implementation, the consultant may work with employees ranging from a task-oriented AP Clerk to a CXO-level executive, and may deal with subjects ranging from analyzing the client’s chart of accounts to recommending organizational performance metrics. Implementation Planning and Execution As consultants determine how best to configure Projector to reflect our customers’ requirements, workflows, and businesses, they are responsible for developing implementation plans to ensure successful deployments. These plans may include planning and executing phased rollouts, customizations, data imports, cutovers, training, and post-implementation support. Project and Client Management Our consultants represent the primary touch point between Projector PSA and our customers. As such, they are responsible for client and project management activities such as proposal development, client satisfaction and relationship management, project planning, execution to budget and schedule, client communication and status reporting, and project profitability. Tools and Methodology Development Consultants are responsible for developing tools and assets necessary to ensure that implementations are successful and cost-effective for our clients. These may range from implementation tools such as worksheets and checklists to training materials such as presentations or computer-based training assets.

 

As most of our consulting can be conducted over the telephone and using remote web meetings, travel expectations are minimal, amounting to 1-2 days per month at most.

Qualifications:

  BS or MS in engineering, math, computer science, or business 5-7 years experience in professional services, software, or high-tech fields 2-3 years experience managing a professional services group as a finance, operations, delivery, or program manager
