Implementation Technical Business Analyst JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: •Write client business rules in VB .Net •Code client letters and documents using MS Reporting Services •Develop client specific reports using MS Reporting Services •Performs business analysis including workflow analysis, business information requirements and models. •Plans, designs, or modifies practical manual and automated business procedures. •Prepares detailed specifications for programs. •Skilled in business process re-design or re-engineering. •Works under general direction and works closely with applications development staff and business staff to advise on complex business issues. Requirements: Candidates for this position should have practical experience with the following: •Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and complete deliverables within specified time frames. Effective team player with the ability to work independently. •Ability to independently analyze and resolve problems, both internally and with clients. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required; ability to communicate technical or complex ideas in a straightforward manner. •Experience writing reports with MS Reporting Services or Crystal Reports •Experience with light coding in VB .NET •Experience utilizing various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles. •Experience in preparing test scripts in order to represent all conditions and effectively complete thorough testing tasks. •Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio. •Experience using software issue/defect tracking tools. •Experience in development of web-based or client-server applications. Has a working knowledge of methods, tools and technology used in carrying out tasks necessary to prepare required deliverables. •Experience in data mapping and requirements documentation in use case formats preferred. Good understanding of object-oriented methodologies and tools for design and development Qualifications: •Exposure with the use of the Visual Studio .NET 2003 or 2005 IDE. •Real world experience in the use of ASP.NET, VB.NET, and ADO.NET. Education: College degree or equivalent certification, plus 3 years experience as a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner. EEO/AA Employer
