Inside Sales Rep, Field Accounts

Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue objectives within assigned sales territory.
• Expand company footprint into the SMB business space in both existing and new “green field” accounts.
• Focus mainly on small to medium sized customers and prospects, manage numerous sales cycles that are transactional in nature.
• Particular focus on new product offerings around SaaS and Business Mashups.
• Focus on understanding an organization’s business drivers, initiatives, challenges, and how company solutions map to these and solve technical business problems.
• Identify new opportunities (new product installs, cross-sells, enterprise opportunities) within very broad territory-based prospect pool, via very high activity levels, both outbound and inbound.
• Leverage product installations and relationships into projects, departments and divisions within the SMB customer base, to identify and generate additional opportunity areas, and convert those to additional company installations.
• Engineer vision and educate customers and prospects on entire suite of company solutions.
• Facilitate resources necessary to advance cycle progress.
• Provide timely and accurate information to management, such as forecasts, business/territory plans, annual goals, etc.

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in applicable discipline or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum of 2-3 years sales experience in high tech sector, inside or field-based. SaaS sales experience is desirable.
• Ability to cover all aspects of territory management in a singular, rather than team-based fashion, make sound independent business decisions. Must prospect, develop, manage, and close sales cycles with little or no field-based involvement.
• Highly motivated and competitive self-starter, indicated by past experiences. High degree of personal integrity and professionalism.
• Proven track record of success as indicated by quota achievement.
• Excellent presentation skills via web-based tools, professional demeanor on phone and in person.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, with both technical and business solutions audiences.
• Able to build meaningful business relationships with clients and where needed, leverage internal resources.
• Excellent vision creation and evangelical approach in bringing new company solutions to market.
• Experience with Web technology and tools implementation, “early adopter” attitude towards technology is required.
• Disciplined time-management skills, excellent multi-tasking skills, ability to quickly prioritize multiple competing priorities. Persistent and dependable, especially with attendance, deliverables and deadlines.
• Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment; flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods if needed. Occasional travel for training and/or meetings may be required.
