Inside Sales- Team Lead
Location: 3Com HQs Marlboro, MA
Overall Purpose of Job:
We are seeking bright, articulate, and self-motivated candidates who have a desire to grow their sales career. Selected candidates will have a strong work ethic and enthusiasm, demonstrating initiative and professionalism. Our Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for developing strategic and collaborative relationships with the Territory Managers and will be an integral part of the Territory Managers’ overall success. This includes general sales support throughout the sales cycle, working with strategic partners on closing business, and targeted demand generation on key accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the central point of contact for the assigned territory to drive business opportunities.
·Effectively resolve issues and queries at first point of contact or through an agreed follow-up process. Ensure that all agreed actions are followed through to completion.
·Ensure consistent and highest customer experience and satisfaction with every engagement.
·Involved in/or driving strategic business planning, business development, and proactive territory management.
·Effectively identify 3Com solutions to meet end-user customer’s business goals, strategies and needs.
·Responsible for the daily management and tracking of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) to ensure appropriate follow up.
·Ensure highest data quality within Siebel system.
Hours of operation for this team are 8am – 8pm EST. Work hours include: 8-5, 9-6, or 11-8.
Skills and Experience:
Business experience preferably in a Inside Sales or Account Management role.
Highly articulate and influential manner, demonstrating excellent sales and service skills.
Ability to work independently, using own initiative and decision-making ability to resolve issues reactively and proactively.
Strong communications skills; comfortable calling on clients at the senior management level.
Should have a desire to pursue a career in Sales utilizing Consultative Sales techniques.
Excellent time management, organizational and planning skills.
Ability to work well in a fast paced, team environment.
Qualifications and Education:
BS/BA.
Previous supervisory or management experience required, preferably within a Sales environment, for the Team Lead positions.
Interest and knowledge of software/hardware technologies preferred.
Experience with Computer Networking technologies a plus.
Possess energetic and enthusiastic demeanor.
