Inside Sales Technical Specialist
Citect a global leader in industrial automation, MES, and SCADA/HMI products has an immediate opening for a Inside Sales Technical Specialist in our Alpharetta, GA location.
Primary Purpose:
Lead deliberation and management: The Inside Sales Specialist will bring discipline to the overall lead structure. This includes primarily nurturing leads over the phone to the point of a sales call from the Territory Managers and/or Partners and secondarily assigning priorities to leads, delivering leads to the Territory Managers and Partners and following up on leads. The Inside Sales Specialist will manage and drive the lead conversion ratio.
Reporting: ROI and KPI follow up and reporting to upper management. The Inside Sales Specialist will regularly monitor and report on key performance indicators around sales' ability to convert leads to opportunities. The Inside Sales Specialist will also be involved in supplying key intelligence and information to help Marketing determine the return on investment in activities, campaigns, and events.
Managing Leads: Managing leads and lead reports in Salesforce.com. Leads will be entered from events, campaigns, trade shows, and other Marketing activities. Reports will be created in support of ROI and KPI monitoring. Leads will be managed and delivered.
Key Areas of Responsibility: Self-Motivational telesales, on the phone negotiation and sales functions to nurture leadsTrade show and event build-outs as necessaryFosters a team environment between Marketing, Business Partners, Resellers, and Territory ManagersProvides assessment and reports of sales staffs results and productivity regarding lead conversion by using Salesforce.com internal tracking systemAssists in monthly forecasting process and regularly monitors key performance indicators regarding lead conversion to opportunities and ROI from events, trade shows, campaigns, and other activities. Continuously enhance lead definition so that over time, marketing and sales activities generate higher quality leadsMiscellaneous duties as assigned
Key Competencies / Requirements: Bachelor's Degree is requiredAvailability to travel 30-40% of the time2-5 years of experience of inside sales experience preferredExperience selling industrial industrial automation software products preferredInside sales, out bound B2B prospecting, not customer serviceAbility to make decisions in the absence of specific directionPrioritizing and problem solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and writtenExperience with Citect products would be helpfulKnowledge of industrial automation software market, sales principals methods and techniquesAbility to foster a cooperative environmentProspect DevelopmentTechnology experience: MS Office, Internet, Windows XP, Customer Relationship Management Software (Salesforce.com)
