Business Analyst

 

Qualified candidate's must have Property and Casualty and Claims experienced. Subrogation experience will be helpful. 


Business Analyst
The Business Analyst position responsible for maintaining existing systems.Will serve as a liaison between IT Operations and the Business Units, focusing on understanding the customers' business needs and how IT solutions meet their needs. The candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, modeling business work flow, writing use case documentation and application testing and user support.


Perform tasks in the areas of analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation.
Participate in test planning, development and execution of Integration and System tests. This includes the creation of test cases and test scripts.
Help maintain relevant project documentation using standard documentation templates and tools.
Participate in meetings as needed, communicate with Team Lead & SMEs.
Act as a liaison between Business users and the Development team.
Facilitate requirements meetings and working sessions.
Create Ad-hoc reports using SQL.
Write training and technical documents.



Bachelor's or Associates Degree (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

3-5 years of related experience in the Information Technology industry.
3-5 years experience in gathering business and user requirements and decomposing into technical (functional & nonfunctional) requirements.
3-5 years experience in the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Proven ability to multi-task and meet challenging deadlines.

Experience with database management systems using SQL.
