Internal Accountant / Financial Analyst

Responsibilities:

- Book, file and prepare all invoices and purchase orders.
- Respond to client and vendor inquiries
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping (moderate for a dot-com)
- Perform monthly book closing tasks such as reconciliations, reporting,
accounting entries
- Respond to internal requests from management team
- Prepare monthly status reports and bi-monthly board-of-director's packages.
- Liaise with tax accountant, and assist with annual audits
- Work on ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or in Finance with minor in Accounting
- 1-3 years related experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, with a proven proficiency in Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- You must be an analytical thinker with the ability to quickly learn new concepts and processes.
- General working knowledge of GAAP a must.
- Peachtree or QuickBooks experience a plus.
